A white vehicle believed to have been in a Trussville pond is no longer there, according to Trussville police Lt. Jeff Bridges.
Bridges said tonight that authorities are unaware of when and how the vehicle may have been removed from the pond near U.S
. Highway 11 and Camp Coleman Road.
The body of an Odenville man was found in a truck in the pond Saturday.
Bridges said Trussville Fire & Rescue personnel informed Mayor Gene Melton earlier today that the vehicle, believed to be a white minivan, was no longer in the pond.
The fire department concluded its search of the pond today and could not locate another vehicle, Bridges said.
