By Gary Lloyd

A Trussville man is charged with burglarizing a home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood Thursday morning.

Thomas Ryan Weaver, 38, is charged with third-degree burglary, said Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges.

Bridges said the burglary occurred in the 100 block of Black Walnut Lane on Thursday about 8:30 a.m.

A neighbor alerted police that a white male had forced open the front door, Bridges said. When police arrived, the suspect was apprehended inside the house.

Bridges said Weaver is also suspected of other burglaries in the area. More charges against Weaver are expected to come next week, authorities said.
