According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, stormy weather could be on tap for the Trussville, Clay and Pinson area on Monday afternoon.
The Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the NWS for Jefferson County said there will be a chance for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight, mainly from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. for all of Central Alabama. The primary threats will be damaging straight line winds and large hail, possibly up to two inches in diameter.

Chance of precipitation is 100%. - Monday Night– Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 10pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
