By Gary Lloyd

The Friends of the Trussville Public Library spring book sale begins this weekend.

The book sale will be April 5-8 and April 12-14 at the old Trussville community center next to the Trussville Public Library on Parkway Drive. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Book prices usually range from 50 cents for paperbacks to a few dollars for coffee table volumes or sets. There will also be T-shirts, bookmarks and raffle tickets on gift baskets. A framed painting by Mary Lynne Robbins, a local artist and Friends of the Library co-president, has been submitted to be raffled.

Mary Lynne Robbins and Dianne Adams display an abstract painting and a basket that will be raffled at the Friends of the Library book sale the first two weekends in April.
