By Gary Lloyd
Two area businesses have relocated.
Sips N Strokes on U.S. Highway 11 near Trussville — considered Birmingham — is moving to a location on Chalkville Mountain Road in the city of Trussville. The new location is in the Kohl’s shopping center.
In another relocation, Quick Fit Gym, formerly located on U.S. Highway 11 in Trussville, has relocated to the Chalkville Plaza Shopping Center in Clay at the corner of Old Springville Road and Sweeney Hollow Road. The gym opened for business today.
A new sports apparel store has opened its doors for the first time in the Chalkville Plaza Shopping Center in Clay at the corner of Old Springville Road and Sweeney Hollow Road. The business, A House Divided, features team merchandise for Alabama, Auburn and UAB.
In other business news, Trussville-based SPOC Automation has completed an expansion project that includes some new milestones for the company. The additional production facility brings the campus total to more than 22,000 square feet. The company is in the planning stages of “Phase Three,” which is scheduled for next winter.
