Chamber partners with Trussville Fire for toy collection

By Gary Lloyd

TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Trussville Fire Department and Courtesy GMC to collect toys for Trussville residents who need a little help this year.

Drop-off locations include the chamber office at 225 Parkway Drive and Courtesy GMC on Edwards Lake Road. Drop-off locations also include Trussville’s three fire stations, on Main Street, Roper Road and U.S. Highway 11.

Donations may be made at the chamber luncheon next Thursday at the Trussville Civic Center. Additional drop-off locations can be added by contacting the chamber at 205-655-7535 or emailing katie.thompson@trussvillechamber.com by Dec. 19.

The Trussville Volunteer Fire Department began its Christmas For Kids program in 1979. The program has helped hundreds of families and many hundreds of children since its inception.
