Center Point Fire answers more than 7,000 calls in 2013

JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Center Point Fire District received 7,108 calls in 2013, it announced last week.

This was the third year in a row that the fire district answered more than 7,000 calls in a year.

The Center Point Fire District serves about 65,000 residents in a 70-mile radius, including in Clay, Pinson, Center Point and surrounding areas.
