TRUSSVILLE — A Trussville native participated Dec. 28 in the 46th annual Birmingham Poinsettia Debutante Ball.
Megan Roxanne Early, a 2011 Hewitt-Trussville High School graduate, was one of 32 other young ladies who were escorted by their fathers.
The debutantes were all dressed in white ball gowns and carried a bouquet of red poinsettias. The ball began with the debutantes’ presentation at the Benefactors’ Dinner, then presented to their families, honored Ball Board members and the closest family friends.
The ball was hosted by the Ballet Women’s Committee and Poinsettia Men’s Club at Vestavia Country Club. All proceeds of the ball go toward the support of the Alabama Ballet.
Early is a third-year student at Auburn University, majoring in biomedical sciences. She’s a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Early is the daughter of Todd Early and Deborah Early. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Morgan of Pell City, and her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Early of Sylvan Springs.
