TRUSSVILLE — A Hewitt-Trussville High School student knew he could help today.
Preston Palmer, a sophomore at Hewitt-Trussville, hopped on his four-wheeler and rode out to people who had abandoned their cars due to today’s snowfall and icy conditions. He picked them up and gave them rides to their homes in the Camp Coleman Road area of Trussville.
Palmer said others were doing the same. Palmer helped about 20 people home, he said.
“Just felt like they needed help and knew I could do something about it,” Palmer said.
