Troopers report more than 700 weather-related crashes

MONTGOMERY — Alabama State Troopers investigated 731 weather-related crashes during last week’s winter storm.

Last Tuesday, there were 249 crashes. Last Wednesday, there were 172 crashes that were investigated. There were 188 crashes last Thursday and 122 crashes last Friday.

On a typical day, Alabama State Troopers investigate an average of 84 crashes statewide.
