TRUSSVILLE — Paine Primary School raised more than $11,000 for the American Heart Association in a jump rope event.
The event, held during the week of Valentine’s Day, was called Jump Rope for Heart.
Paine Primary School students jumped rope to raise money for the 35th anniversary of Jump Rope for Heart.
The donations will support such life-saving efforts as research, education, advocating for better health, improving patient care and reaching populations at risk.
To help the students celebrate this event, parents came to jump rope with their children to experience how fun it is to exercise by jumping rope.
