TRUSSVILLE — Gov. Robert Bentley last week presented the Governor’s Trade Excellence Awards to eight Alabama companies that are excelling in international trade, and one of them has a Trussville connection.
Hornsby Steel Inc., located in Cleveland, won one of the awards and is owned by Trussville resident Bobby Hornsby and his brother David Hornsby, formerly of Trussville. The company specializes in the curving and bending of steel and other metals for all applications, including industrial, mining, shipbuilding, railroads, structural and architectural use.
“Alabama products are among the best in the country, and the companies recognized (last week) show how successful Alabama products are reaching the global marketplace,” Bentley said in a statement.
