TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville boys soccer team earned its biggest win of the season Tuesday, dropping top-ranked Vestavia Hills 3-2.
Vestavia Hills is ranked No. 1 in Class 6A and is the defending state champion.
Hewitt-Trussville got out to a 3-0 lead and held on after Vestavia Hills scored two goals in the final 29 minutes.
Hewitt-Trussville got goals from Isaac Searcy, Tanner Fulton and Dalton Smith.
