Want to keep up with the latest Tribune news during the upcoming storms? Here’s how

By Scott Buttram

TRUSSVILLE –With storms on the horizon, keeping track of local news is first and foremost in the minds of most people. Here are a couple of easy tips for keeping up with all of the Tribune news.

Facebook recently began limiting business pages in newsfeeds. This change may have you seeing far fewer news stories than you did in the past. By selecting “Notifications,” as shown in the photo, you will be alerted to every news story that is linked to our Facebook page.

Another way to make sure that you’re getting all of the breaking news stories is to ¬†follow The Trussville Tribune on Twitter. Our Twitter name is @TrussTribune. Every story linked to Facebook is also tweeted out to all of our followers.

Our staff will be keeping an eye weather as it moves through the Tribune coverage area. We’ll be following the alerts from the National Weather Service in Birmingham and staying in contact with schools, local emergency officials as well as multiple other sources. Check in often and follow the steps above to stay informed.
