TRUSSVILLE — A snake found its way into the Trussville Public Library on Friday.
Library employees are not sure how the snake made its way in, but Trussville Library Board trustee Clyde Bolton saw it slither under a shelf.
The snake is believed to be a baby Eastern Kingsnake.
“‘Public’ library usually means it’s open to anyone, but we’ll draw the line at snakes…,” says a post on the Trussville Public Library’s Facebook page.
The snake was captured and released at a remote location.
