Hewitt-Trussville announces boys hoops camp

TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville High School boys basketball summer camp will be June 9-12 at Bryant Bank Arena.

Each day will last from 9 a.m. to noon.

The camp is for boys entering third grade through those entering eighth grade.

The cost is $100 per camper. Checks should be made payable to HTHS Boys Basketball.

Campers should bring shorts, a T-shirt and basketball shoes to camp each day.

Highlights of the camp will be shooting, ball handling, rebounding, defensive work, passing and teamwork.

Coaches will be Hewitt-Trussville varsity head coach Mike Dutton, varsity assistant Bobby Johns, junior varsity head coach Jeremiah Millington, freshmen head coach Matt Dickey and eighth grade head coach Shane Clay.

Registration is available at www.trussvillecityschools.com and it should be mailed with payment to Mike Dutton, HTHS Boys Basketball, 6450 Husky Parkway, Trussville, AL 35173.
