Trussville PD searches for suspect who ran from authorities

TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department is searching for a suspect who ran from authorities today.

Keith Lambert Cooper, 23, is charged with second-degree receiving stolen property. His bond is $5,000. Trussville police were serving this warrant when the suspect ran into the woods, Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges said.

Cooper is possibly staying at 3031 Mobile Ave.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office K-9 is on the scene to assist.

UPDATE: Cooper was apprehended at about 11:10 a.m. Monday.
