TRUSSVILLE — A Pinson man is in jail after he allegedly cut his wife’s throat during an altercation in the Sam’s Club parking lot in Trussville.
The 28-year-old man is being held at Trussville City Jail pending formal charges of assault and domestic violence, Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges said. Bridges said the incident happened just after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
He said store surveillance video captured the argument and authorities are reviewing it.
Bridges said the suspect fled the scene after the fight, and a lookout bulletin was issued for him, who was found and arrested later Wednesday night.
The victim received five stitches to her neck, Bridges said.
