Nearly 300 participate in Clay Fishing Rodeo

CLAY — Nearly 300 kids under the age of 10 participated in the Clay Fishing Rodeo on June 7 at Cosby Lake Park.

There were 288 kids who participated, all of which received a free rod and reel.

More than 300 fish were caught, including a 3-pound catfish by a 3-year-old.

That same day, a walk around Cosby Lake was held to benefit Camp Smile-A-Mile. It raised $1,000.
