TRUSSVILLE — The first section of resurfacing and repairing North Chalkville Road in Trussville is complete.
The stretch of roadway between Rock Ridge Avenue and Brentwood Avenue is complete and open. Sidewalks and gutters were also repaired.
Trussville Mayor Gene Melton said it’s in “excellent condition.”
“It’s looking really good,” Melton said.
Work has now moved to The Mall area stretching to Hewitt Street. It’s expected to be complete in early August. Detours for motorists remain in this area.
