CLAY — The Clay-Chalkville High School National Honor Society is trying to help in the fight against the Ebola virus outbreak.
The society has a goal of getting 1,000 10-pound bags of rice to send to West Africa, said Clay-Chalkville High School Principal Michael Lee.
Lee said anyone wishing to donate a 10-pound bag of rice can drop it off at the high school.
On Tuesday night, anyone who donates a 10-pound bag of rice before the Hewitt-Trussville vs. Clay-Chalkville varsity volleyball match will get in free. The match is at 6 p.m. at Clay-Chalkville High School.
