TRUSSVILLE — The Chick-fil-A in Trussville will host a dunking booth for Turn Trussville Pink on Wednesday, Oct. 22 to benefit the Audie and Kathy White Foundation.
The event will last from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets for the contest are $1, or customers can submit their receipts from Chick-fil-A food purchases that day for a ticket. A percentage of sales raised from the contest will be donated to the Audie and Kathy White Foundation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Cancer Center.
Representatives from Trussville, Clay and Springville have volunteered to be dunked in the booth for the event, including State House District 44 Rep. Danny Garrett, Alabama State Senate District 17 nominee Shay Shelnutt, Springville Mayor William Isley, Clay Mayor Charles Webster, Clay City Manager Ronnie Dixon, Greg & Deana Carroll of Carroll Pharmacy, the Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin” Cow and more.
Two Trussville City Council members are also expected to participate.
