PINSON — Pinson Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week the last week of October.
On Monday the school had Wacky Tacky Day; on Tuesday it had Pajama Day; Wednesday was a salute to all who serve or have served our country; Thursday was the 60th day of school so students dressed like it was the 1960s; and Friday was the day students wore their favorite team shirts, cheerleader or sports uniforms.
The elementary school collected items every day to be donated to the local food bank and it had a St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital coin drive.
