PINSON – Pinson Valley and Hewitt-Trussville soccer teams were back in action on Thursday night, looking to improve on their strong openings to the season.
The Pinson Valley girls (2-0) knocked off visiting Mortimer Jordan 5-1 behind a second straight hat trick from Tori Gann. Viviana Rosales and Evelyn Zotea also contributed goals to the victory.
Hector Lucatero had a huge night for the Indians (2-0), scoring five goals in a resounding 10-0 win over Mortimer Jordan. Pinson Valley also got three goals from Jordan Walton.
Hewitt-Trussville’s girls (1-1) traveled to Oak Mountain, and fell by a 2-1 tally. The Lady Huskies’ lone goal came from Lauren Smith.
