TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Board of Education on Monday approved contracts for three of its school principals.
All three contracts approved were for three years.
Hewitt-Trussville High School Principal Tim Salem, Alternative Learning Center Principal Phyllis Faust and Paine Intermediate School Principal Autumm Jeter had contracts approved.
Salem’s contract is for 1,540 per year. His original contract, when he became the high school’s principal in 2012, paid him 8,000 per year. Prior to Salem, the high school had four principals in seven years.
Faust has been the principal at the Alternative Learning Center since 2013. Her new three-year contract will pay her 7,020 per year.
This is Jeter’s first Trussville City Schools contract. She was hired in July 2014. Her three-year contract will pay her ,080 per year.
“I’m looking forward to the next three years,” said Trussville City Schools Superintendent Pattie Neill.
