PINSON — A Pinson teenager will be competing in the National American Miss Alabama Pageant in June.
Justine Loomis, 16, was chosen as a state finalist for the pageant, which will be held June 15 at the Sheraton Birmingham.
The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 to 18, and have five different age divisions. Loomis will be participating in the Junior Teen age division, along with other girls from across Alabama.
The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California, where she will receive a complimentary tour of Hollywood and two VIP tickets to Disneyland.
Loomis’ activities include homeschooling, piano and community Bible study. She also enjoys activities at NorthPark Baptist Church in Trussville and hanging out with friends.
She’s the daughter of Cathy and David Loomis.
