From staff reports
Megan Miller of WIAT reported that a Trussville man had been booked at the Shelby County jail on Thursday following an April 22 incident at a Hoover doctor’s office.
According to the television station, Charles Sherron Liles, 57, demanded to see a doctor without an appointment. Liles allegedly became belligerent and sprayed a person in the face with pepper spray.
He continued to spray the substance as he left the office, according to the report.
The Hoover fire department treated the victim and several other patients for the effects of the spray, Miller reported.
Liles’ bond was set at $122,000 on charges of third degree assault, criminal use of a noxious substance, and two counts of harassment.
