First Baptist Church Trussville, along with its corporate partners, presents the Trussville Freedom Celebration, an eighth annual July 4th celebration on The Mall in historic downtown Trussville this Saturday.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m., with free rides and inflatables for kids of all ages.
“You’re invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy music from local artists and celebrate the freedoms God has granted us here in America,” said Chad Summers, FBCT’s media director.
Attendees have the option of bringing their own picnic or enjoying food available for purchase from a dozen local vendors, including Moe’s Original BBQ, The Three-Earred Rabbit, The Farmhouse, Kona Ice, Papa John’s Pizza, Rita’s Lemonade, Wheelin’ & Grillin’, Steel City Pops, Big Al’s Hot Dog Wagon, Doodles, Dreamcakes and Cantina On Wheels.
The night will be capped-off by a 9:00 p.m. fireworks spectacular billed as “second to none in the Birmingham area.”
