The suspect is described as a white male, 17-19 years old, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 120 lbs. He appeared to be wearing a gray t-shirt, khaki cargo style shorts, black tennis shoes, and a light green ball cap with a darker green bill and unidentified graphic design/logo on the front.
Deputies say the man entered the store just before 5:30 a.m. on Sunday and went to the counter as if he were planning to purchase a beverage. When the cashier opened the cash register, the man produced a gun and demanded money.
It appears the subject approached the store on foot from the north, and fled the scene in the same direction.
“The cashier handed over the cash drawer and the suspect fled on foot with the drawer,” Self said. “No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.”
Deputies searched the area when they arrived on the scene, but were unable to find the suspect.
