SELMA —A suspect in a shooting at a church in Selma that injured three individuals has been apprehended, according to a report from the Selma Times-Journal.
Prosecutors say the suspect has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a woman, an infant and a pastor.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson told the Times-Journal James Minter was arrested after the shooting Sunday at the Oasis Church in Selma.
Jackson said the shooting stemmed from domestic issues between Minter and his girlfriend, who was one of the victims. Both the girlfriend and her child were transported to a Birmingham hospital.
