CENTER POINT — Jefferson County deputies responded to a report of a shooting at McDonald’s in the 1900 block of Center Point Parkway just after noon today according to a release.
When deputies arrived, they found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
The initial investigation indicated the victims were sitting in a car in the parking lot with two additional adult males when a pair of individuals allegedly approached the car and began shooting. The victims seated in the front of the car and were struck by gunfire, the release read.
The other two people in the car were not injured. The victims have been transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The alleged suspects are described only as two black males, one wearing a red shirt and the other wearing a blue shirt. The reason for the shooting was not immediately clear, and the investigation is ongoing.
