BIRMINGHAM — Alabama State Troopers have identified the victim in a two-vehicle crash that happened at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday in Leeds. The woman, Andeldez Guadalupe Dasquez-Lugo, 30, was killed when the Ford F-150 she was driving was struck by an Amtrak train.
State Troopers believe the driver drove around the railroad crossing arms prior to the crash. Dasquez-Lugo was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported from the Amtrak train.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
