GARDENDALE — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit assisted the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force Monday, Nov. 9, in the arrest of a Gardendale man, according to a press release.
Joseph Michael Holmes, 21, was charged with four state counts of dissemination of child pornography and booked at the Jefferson County jail, with a $30,000 bond. He has since been released.
“We will continue to team with our federal and local partners as to investigate those who prey on our children,” Secretary of Law Enforcement Spencer Collier said in a statement.
