OAKVILLE – According to Hewitt-Trussville cross-country coach David Dobbs, three of his runners logged strong finishes at Saturday’s Alabama High School Athletics Association state championship meet.
Dobbs went to Twitter to announce a pair of quick times in the boys race.
“Ben Knox 5th, John Ngaruiya 8th place All-State 7A boys AHSAA (cross-country) State Championships,” posted Dobbs.
Knox signed a scholarship with UAH on Thursday.
Dobbs also announced Marlee Mason’s strong effort in the season finale. Mason finished No. 15 in the girls run. She joined Knox in signing with UAH on Thursday afternoon.
