PINSON — A new park in Pinson will be open soon, and it doesn’t disappoint. Complete with a splash pad, playground, disc golf course and amphitheater, the park will host its ribbon cutting Sunday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. according to Mayor Hoyt Sanders
The park is located just off Center Point Road between Sweeney Hollow Road and Glen Brook Road.
“Until this point, our citizens have had to travel to neighboring jurisdictions for these venues. The playground, splash pad, and amphitheatre will be such a welcomed attraction for our citizens,” Sanders said. “I am very excited about this addition to our city.”
Sanders said there will be another grand opening in the spring with the splash pad opening.
