PINSON — A pair of Pinson Valley High School students have been expelled after a video surfaced on social media of them with guns on the property at the school over Christmas break. WIAT first reported the story.
Jefferson County Superintendent Dr. Craig Pouncey told WIAT the students brought the guns to the school prior to basketball practice during the break, and he suspected the students were trying to impress peers by posting the video online.
The students’ names have not been released.
