TRUSSVILLE –The Tribune area will see some very active weather over the next 48 hours, though we should be in between the biggest threats.
To our south, Thursday night could see severe weather including a chance of tornadoes along the gulf coast. The most threatening weather should be south of Demopolis with our area seeing mostly rain. This is expected after 9 p.m. and through the overnight hours.
To our north, temperatures will fall throughout the day on Friday bring a changeover from rain to snow for much of north Alabama, though only the northern most counties in Alabama are expected to see accumulations of one to two inches. This is anticipated after 6 p.m. on Friday. Here in the local area, we should see flurries with accumulations of an inch or less.
