BIRMINGHAM –On Sunday evening, Birmingham police answered a call of shots fired on Daniel Drive. where they found one victim with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to WBRC.
Police said they believe at least four people were involved in an argument.
While still working the Daniel Drive shooting scene, officers were dispatched to New Hill Avenue where two more people had been wounded in a shooting incident and multiple vehicles and a home had sustained bullet damage.
By 1 a.m. Sunday, police were investigating yet another shooting at New Hill Avenue where they told WIAT they found two people wounded, a third injured by debris, and more than 80 shell casings.
Lt. Sean Edwards told the television station that police believe all of the shooting incidents are related.
As of Monday morning, no arrests had been reported and the incidents remain under investigation.
