IRONDALE –An Irondale mother was beaten to death on Friday morning with her teenage daughters in the next room, according to Carol Robinson.
Robinson reported that the 42-year-old mother was found by her daughters who called police.

Friday afternoon, Irondale police issued a “Be On The Lookout” bulletin for the suspect in the homicide.
“We are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 block of Meadows Drive,” Irondale police said via Facebook. “Anthony Lanier Kelly (7-28-79, 6’0, 215) of Birmingham is wanted for questioning in the death of his 42 year old girlfriend, any info on Kelly please call IPD at 956-599.”
