TRUSSVILLE — Trussville lacrosse player Campbell Holley signed a scholarship to Tusculum College, teammate Will Altman signed with UAH, and Skylar DeFrank will sign with Point University.
Coach Jamey Curlee said he hopes they are just the first of many more.
“There will be at least five other guys that will play at Alabama, Auburn and UAB’s club teams at the college level. This is a great day for our lacrosse program. To have these three young men sign with an established college program is remarkable. In only our third year of playing, we have reached this goal for all the rest of the players in the program from youth to high school players. I am very proud of Skylar, Will and Campbell they have worked so hard to get this accomplishment,” said Curlee.
