BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will participate in the 33rd Annual “National Night Out” Tuesday August 2 at two locations.
This is an effort to promote “Keeping Neighborhoods and Communities Safe” by providing an opportunity for neighbors to meet neighbors and interact with Law Enforcement.
The Sylvan Springs National Night Out will be held the ballpark in Sylvan Springs off Rock Creek Road. The event runs from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at 130 Rock Creek Road.
The Center Point National Night Out will be held in the parking lot next to the Center Point courthouse from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at 2651 Center Point Parkway.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office will be on hand from various special units at both locations. They will have equipment used by the sheriff’s office on display that assists them in “keeping neighborhoods and communities safe. The sheriff’s office air support unit will also be on hand.
