TRUSSVILLE – Hewitt-Trussville High School was recently voted the 16th safest public high school in Alabama according to Niche.
Rankings were based on student and parent reviews of health and safety, rates for expulsion, suspension and school-related arrests. Expenses per student were also considered.
According to Niche, the list provides a comprehensive assessment of health and safety of a public high school. A public high school is considered one that is located in one of the 50 states, Puerto Rico or the District of Columbia, offers at least grade 11 or 12 and has sufficient data.
