Trussville photographer releases book combining rescue dogs, ballet

TRUSSVILLE – A Trussville-based photographer has launched a coffee table book benefitting the Alabama Ballet and local pet rescue organizations.

Connie Collum of Wet Nose Images has now released Sit. Stay. Plie., 112 pages of images bringing together the grace of dancers from the Alabama Ballet and numerous dogs rescued from the streets and shelters of Alabama.

Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to several Alabama rescue organizations, as well as the Alabama Ballet. Books are available for pre-order and will be in bookstores and other locations in November.

Wet Nose images hopes the book will help the Alabama Ballet and rescue organizations benefitting from the sale of the book, but also aid in increasing awareness for the plight of homeless animals in Alabama, which will hopefully lead to the adoption of homeless pets.
