TRUSSVILLE –According to Trussville police captain Jeff Bridges, officers are investigating a bomb threat at Target on U.S. Highway 11.
Bridges said the threat made Friday morning alleged that a bomb was in a vehicle in the parking lot.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office canine unit is in route to assist in the search for any explosives.
UPDATE: Bridges said a thorough search was conducted and an ‘all clear’ was issued after no threat was found.

I just want to be sure I’m understanding what a few of you seem to be saying (or agreeing with) here. Are you saying that people who disagree with Target’s policies are justified in making bomb threats at a local store? Or actually planting a bomb? (Or, put another way, that people who shop or work at the local Target deserve to be in fear for their lives because someone disagrees with the store’s policies.) Surely you don’t really think that a threat against life is appropriate here.

I would never make any threat, but target has put themselves in a bad situation with their stance on several issues. I have no pity for them. I haven’t shopped target in yrs ,and don’t intend to ever go back.. If they close the doors tomorrow it won’t affect me at all. As for the employees, they were looking for a job when they found the job at target. they’ll find another.

When you are sexually assaulted by one of these transgenders perverts etc, in the lady’s rest room, you’ll be the 1st to squeal like a pig !. Like I said. I didn’t make the threat, but I don’t really care. Doesn’t affect me one way or the other.
