PINSON — Students at Pinson Elementary School had the opportunity to explore the night sky and constellations of the Navajo in the Science Lab.
The Star Lab is a portable planetarium that Emily Gallaway from Woodman Life so graciously allowed the school to borrow for a week. The Star Lab showed students what our “night sky” looks like without street lights and/or other artificial lights, and we also looked at the constellations that the Navajo Indians of the American Southwest lived by long ago.
