TRUSSVILLE – After a successful summer block party, the Trussville Downtown Merchant’s Association is hosting “Fall in Love with Downtown Trussville” October 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Members of the Merchant’s Association are offering specials, giveaways, activities for children, food and more.
DeDe’s Book Rack will have story time for children at 11 and 11:30 a.m. Trussville Antiques and Interiors will have a pumpkin patch, with pumpkins for sale for $5 each, as well as food vendors and cotton candy, and a costume contest for ages 0-12 at 1 p.m. Guitar Pros will offer food vendors and live music. Eskridge and White Physiotherapy will have “A Taste of Salsa” at 11:30 a.m., yoga at noon, and dance fitness at 12:30 p.m. The Three Earred Rabbit will have a specialty hot dog trailer next to the old Mabes building, along with in store specials. Tula J Boutique will have drawings for door prizes and giveaways. Illusions Hair Salon will have candy for children and door prizes. The Law Offices of Brian S. Plant, LLC will have free popcorn. Carroll Pharmacy will have a tent sale with special “bobbing for bucks” discounts and appearances by “Caring Bear.” Katherine Cindia Designs will have a raffle for fall and Halloween items and a mini-hay ride for kids.
Food vendors will include Wheelin’ and Grillin’, Alabama Regional Corn Roaster, TMB Coffee and Smoothies and Goodies Ice Cream. There will also be vendors selling kettle corn and cotton candy.
The Trussville Downtown Merchants Association will have a tent in front of The Straw Hat, selling downtown Trussville t-shirts and giving patrons directions. There will also be a door decorating contest for Downtown Merchant members, and patrons can pick up a ballot to vote for their favorite door at the hospitality tent. Ballots will also be available at participating businesses, but all complete ballots should be turned in to the hospitality tent, Trussville Antique and Interior, or Guitar Pros.
