CLAY – The Clay Public Library has a full slate of winter activities on its December events calendar.
Dec. 3 will be game day, and Dec. 4 will be adult craft day at 2 p.m. Participants will be making tinsel wreath ornaments and button tree trays. Registration is
required to participate, so interested parties can call the library at 680-3812 to reserve a spot. The $10 registration fee covers materials for both crafts.
A Santa Party will take place Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., the City of Clay Christmas parade will take place Dec. 10 at 3 p.m., and the Polar Express PJ Party will take place Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. During the PJ Party, children will be reading “The Polar Express,” drinking hot chocolate, making bell necklaces and watching the movie. All attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas pajamas.
ON Dec. 20 “The Science Lady”, Jan Mattingly, will be conducting a gingerbread science class, where participants will make gingerbread houses.
There will be no story time on Dec. 27 and the library will be closed Dec. 24-26 and 31.
