TRUSSVILLE – Sunrise Ridge Assisted Living has been taken over by Atlas Senior Living, a developer, operator and manager of senior housing across the southeast.
“This acquisition marks an exciting milestone for our company,” Scott Goldberg, President and CEO of Atlas Senior Living, said. “We had our eye on Trussville for a while because it is a growing market, but remains a close-knit community that we are thrilled to join”
According to a press release from Atlas, the company’s goal is to learn from the staff at Sunrise Ridge and build on its culture, continuing Sunrise Ridge’s positive trajectory.
“Our approach with Sunrise Ridge is servant leadership – say less and listen more,” Goldberg said. “We would like to determine how we can align our disciplines with theirs so we can continue to improve.”
Minor renovations will be made to the existing building to enhance the common areas at Sunrise Ridge. A meet and greet with staff and residents’ families is being planned for December.
“I am so excited to see what Atlas Senior Living can do for Sunrise Ridge,” Abbey Reach, Executive Director of Sunrise Ridge, said. “Atlas Senior living cares deeply for seniors, so now we can provide our community with more resources that will enable us to better serve the residents of Sunrise Ridge. Atlas Senior Living and I will continue to work hard for the residents that we have the honor of caring for.”
