SHELBY COUNTY — A Birmingham man has been arrested and placed in the Shelby County Jail after being accused of sexually abusing a child, according to Carol Robinson.
Robert Benjamin Reid
Authorities arrested 27-year-old Robert Benjamin Reid Thursday. He is charged with allegedly having sexual contact with a child under the age of 12 during an incident that occurred on Sept. 30.
As of Friday Reid was still in the Shelby County Jail with a bond set at $15,000.
No further information is available at this time.
