From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club was recently presented with a presidential citation from District Governor Sue Mitchell of Decatur, according to the organization.
Of the 52 clubs in the district, the Daybreak Club was one of only two clubs that received this recognition for the 2016-17 year.
Criteria for the citation include growth in club membership, development of sustainable service projects, and building awareness of Rotary in the community.
The Club was also recognized for 100 percent giving to the Rotary International Foundation by its club members.
The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club meets for breakfast on Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. at Spare Time Entertainment (3600 Roosevelt Blvd).
